A standard cotton tee hangs straight down off the widest point of you. That's why everyone ends up the same shape in one.
This one doesn't. The Sorona® and spandex pull it back to your actual frame; the rayon gives it the drape that keeps it close without clinging. Gym and dinner — most tees only manage one.
The fabric starts as wood pulp and corn. The rayon is regenerated cellulose from wood pulp. Sorona® is a performance fibre whose stretch component is made through corn fermentation rather than from petroleum, and it's what replaces the nylon or conventional polyester you'd find in most stretch fabric. Over 75% of the fibre content is plant-derived. DuPont's published figures put Sorona® at 30% less energy and 63% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than Nylon 6.
Care: warm wash, machine dryer, no special handling. It doesn't shrink and it holds its shape. For a fabric this soft, that's the unusual part.
